Worst service ever Our party of four arrived early for our 6:00 reservation. The restaurant was not crowded. When 7:00 hit and we had not gotten our food, I asked the waitress about it as we needed to leave by 7:30 at the latest. She said it was coming right up. Five minutes later, the owner came and apologized that the order had not been turned in the waitress had lost the ticket , but that our food would be right out in a few minutes. (How that was possible if the order had been lost was a bit confusing, but we were starving, so we did not question). When at 7:20 I reminded her we needed to leave in 10 minutes, she said it was coming right up. We ended up leaving after 7:30 very hungry and more than a little angry. The waitress did run out the door to hand us a bag with some food in it...I had ordered dairy free food, and the 2 items in the bag that were supposed to help feed all four of us both had cheese on them (we could not figure out what one food item was, actually not at all what we had ordered). At one point the owner had asked if we wanted a second basket of bread while we were waiting YES WE WERE READY TO EAT THE NAPKINS but no bread was even brought to the table during this whole debacle. Needless to say, despite the offer of a free dinner for our next visit, we will never again darken the door of Risto’s place.
