Rockwell's Neighborhood Grill

Very nice neighborhood place with an awesome patio. Great appetizers and booze selection. Staff is friendly and service is brisk. A gem in a beautiful neighborhood. Definitely coming back!

The fried chicken was delightful. You could taste the pickle brine. The patio is cute. I love this neighborhood gem.

Very relaxing atmosphere at this neighborhood pub next to the Brown line. Good draft beer selection and an eclectic food menu. I enjoyed everything I ordered. We will absolutely return!

This was a visit back after many years and the restaurant may have switched hands along the way but it still had that same old neighborhood grill feel. It’s in a beautiful Chicago neighborhood along the Brown Line and near the Chicago River. It’s a very walkable neighborhood with nice sidewalks and many trees. This restaurant offers indoor and outdoor eating. We opted for indoors. I was a bit worried because some recent reviews mentioned loud uncontrolled children and slow service but we didn’t find that to be the case. We were there on a weekday afternoon so I’m sure that affected the business if the space but for us, we had great attentive service and good food in a comfortable setting. The music was relaxing and we felt we could eat and sit back with ease while we sipped our coffee and drank our bloody Mary’s and listened for the rattle of the brown line in the distance. Highly recommend.

Gluten Free! We've always liked Rockwell's. Food and atmosphere have been a favorite for years. But today was the first we have been here since they changed the menu. Lots of great gluten free options! We will be back often!Food: 5/5

I went with my baby to pick up my order, which was supposed to be ready. I had to flag someone down myself after 5 minutes of waiting. They said my pickup order would be ready in 15 minutes, so I waited. After 20 minutes of waiting, I again had to flag someone down again myself to see what the status was. And they told me it would be another 30 minutes. They expected me to wait with a baby for an additional hour total for a pickup order we had already waited 40 minutes to pick up. Completely unacceptable.

I LOVE THIS SPOT Rockwell is the best little neighborhood spot. My favorite thing on the menu is Bluto’s Chicken Sandwich, it’s one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Also notable are the Louisiana Egg Rolls, the Burgers, Dark Matter Coffee (best brand in the city). Great staff, awesome patio spot and all around joyful neighborhood place, great for kids too!! Patio is dog friendly! Have yet to try breakfast, but it’s on my list also great for to-go orders
