People of Montreal seem to love their rotisserie chicken so of course I made a stop at the most famous place to see what the fuss was all about.

Let's face it folks, poutine can be a heavy dish, even when adding anything other than the classical cheese curds and gravy. However, this is not the case with the Portuguese chicken which I believe gives it that zest. During my trip I stopped by here twice for the chicken and why not add it onto a montreal dish :p

Not sure what is happening to this place. On our last visit, we were greeted with "no more sandwiches"!. The piri piri sauce was diluted, the chicken was dry and the fries looked like they had been re-heated. Thankfully the natas were delicious.

Delicious chicken, you can eat it alone or with fries and salad. For dessert you have a huge variety of cakes!

Portuguese chicken envy. it will be at romados but a delay, a countertime; There won't be chicken today. However, we have compensated our disappointment of the missed date with the chicken by buying nata pasteis; certainly among the best ones we can find in Montreal. The little tables, all very busy, incline us to go to taste our pastries outside. It will be at Parc Jeanne-Mance, located a few steps away.Fresh and crispy paste, pleasantly scented, sweet as it is necessary .ce Sunday ends in a gouty way. We'll go back to the "Nata pastei" ray.

We happened to find this place when strolling around the neighborhood. Except very nice and fresh chicken, their chicken soup is so stunning with rich flavor but simple ingredients! We will definitely go back again when visiting Montreal next time.
