Sagebrush Steakhouse Waynesville

The good: service was good and food ok. We ordered grilled chicken sand bugs. They tasted good, but paper-thin chicken, which was fried and dried out. Bad part: The place smelled like a canal. I think it was either in a flood, canal toilet problems or they are with toilet water. Had to eat quickly, not to breathe the foul order. Floors were moist and slim. Ceiling tiles were broken and black form was visible. Never again.

I ordered the cheeseries for our appetizer and they were delicious. For my meal, I ordered the beef tips with a stuffed potato. They brought me a simple potato and the waitress had to go back and the hand? So I could mix it with my potato. It was really cold and didn't mix well. My beef tips were fine. My husband got the rodeo chicken with a baked potato, he said that it was very bland and had little taste. We also have salads and they were very good. The waitress was also very nice.

That was my husband and I eat here for the first time. We usually go to boat (it is closer). But we were not happy with them, so we tried this place. I'm glad we made it! We sat fast, our server was attentive. Onion leaves were sooo good. Thick pieces and golden brown. We had both steaks and both were cooked for perfection! The food was delicious! We will definitely return! We have returned twice since then and the food is still consistent. Hats from the cook make a great job on steak temperature!

Wasn't overly excited about stopping here to begin with. We ordered the onion ring appetizer and it was amazing plentiful! Salad was good and chicken fried steak was delicious. New York strip and shrimp was also perfect. Oh and delicious rolls too and loaded baked potatoes! Try it!!!

I'm not one to leave reviews but I will never eat here again. Ordered steak tips for delivery. It clearly states that steak tips come with gravy and sauteed onions and peppers on the menu. When I get the food it's only the tips. No gravy. No onions and peppers. I called up there and they said oh you have to ask for that. WHY should I have to ASK when it clearly reads on YOUR menu it come with it. This was my first time eating here in years. NEVER NEVER AGAIN.

We had about a 10 minute wait and they were pretty busy. Our salads were delicious, the cheese fries were delicious, the NY strip that 3 out of 4 of had were cooked perfectly. The chicken strips were good too. Rolls were hot delicious. Nice family friendly place to eat. I recommend this restaurant if you want a sit down steak dinner or something other than fast food.

My daughter took me out for dinner and I usually order the prime rib at Sagebrush but it wasn't on the menu this time. My grandson likes to order the ribs, so I thought I would try them. It came in 1 or 2 pounds; so thinking of him I ordered the two pounds. As you can see in the picture posted that it is a huge order! Their onion petals and salad were great, my daughter's steak was delicious (she said) but my ribs were not fall off the bone as stated on the menu.
