What a great place to relax and do some wine tasting or buy a bottle. I've had this place bookmarked for a long while and finally stopped in one weekday afternoon. Initially it was quiet but during the couple hours I was there different regulars drifted in to enjoy a glass or open a bottle and I was told a large wine tasting party was scheduled later that night. I sat at the bar rather than one of the many tables. You can choose to taste certain wines on the tasting list, buy and drink a bottle of your choice, or as I did try several wines from the weekly tasting flight. There were five wines on the tasting flight the day I visited; two whites and three reds. I've never been a fan of white wine but thought I'd give them a try. For the whites, the 2020 Villa Sandi Pinot Grigio was actually pretty good and I could imagine enjoying it at the beach. Didn't care much for the 2018 Mondavi Fume Blanc. For the reds, the 2019 Mad Hatter Red Blend was excellent and the 2019 Caymus Grand Durif Petite Syrah was so wonderful I bought a bottle to take home. The 2019 Kith and Kin Napa Cabernet was also very good. That gives you and idea of what to expect with a tasting flight but note that it changes every week. I also got the small charcuterie board to snack on. It was a delicious variety of cheeses, meats, crackers, fruits, and nuts. It is meant to serve two but I hadn't had lunch so I polished it off myself with no problem. Various tasting events are scheduled on a regular basis (check the website). The vibe here is relaxed and casual, everyone who walks through the door is made to feel at home. Pours are generous and prices are fair. A true hidden gem.
