Slanted Porch

An experience. Excellent service and food that went beyond and beyond my expectations. I ordered a turkey sandwich that contained avocado and Havarti cheese among other delicious ingredients, on a Dutch crispy roll. Sandwich melted in my mouth! I chose Clam Chowder as my side, (the soup of the day) and it was also delectable! The staff was smiling, friendly and eager to please. I will definitely return to this hidden gem.

I wasn't in town long, but we did it twice. The next thing I have to make a complaint is the close time they are open, but given the state of things this is understandable. This is also only really a problem for me, because I am not a morning man at weekends and not really moving and drive until later in the morning weekend bumming!! Apart from that, every experience here was amazing! The food was PHENOMENAL (first time I had a reub Sammy and salad, second time a French dip and salad, he had the Taylor and homemade chips, then the Gobbler and the soup of the day). While the food was from this world, the service is where this place will let me come back! The staff as a whole seems friendly and super willing to do what they can (within their power) to accommodate! You are personable with NORMAL, REAL Personalities!!! Management here seems to really get it! Good job!

A great lunch here in March 2022. Great atmosphere, friendly and quick service. Would like to come back and eat on their terrace or veranda. Nice place to stop while on a day trip to Fallon (from Reno).

Definitely a jewel in Fallon! Our party of 3 enjoyed our entrees. My spouse loved the Rockwell Sandwich. His only negative comment was the charge of $2 hand-cut pommes was smaller, then he thought it should be because they were delicious. Our friend had a Salattrio that saw and tasted amazing! The salad was very generous. My gobbker sandwich was very delicious. Our server was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend if you are in Fallon!

When god created the earth, many believe he rested in the 7th day, but in fact he was creating the most perfect burger imaginable. He would then wait countless millennia to pass this gift on to his humble creation. The Slanted Porch may be an unassuming looking restaurant in an unassuming part of the country, but on Thursdays, they deliver this divine gift to the good people of Fallon. The Lamburger at the slanted porch (always with fresh jalapeños) may be the greatest thing in the entire city of Fallon, maybe even the state of Nevada. Thank you, Porch, thank you for everything.

Amazing food. A little pricy. Soups, salads sandwiches and burgers.

4.5 stars Prices are a little bit more than your average fast food restaurant but the quality food matches the asking price. Hopefully they can expand to a kids menu as I’d love to take my little guy here
