I came to this restaurant last month with my friend.

Awesome little Vietnamese restaurant on Barrington StreetHad a good bowl of the P9 - pho with beef balls and rice noodles.

A little cold and rainy in downtown Halifax today so perfect time to have hot and sour vermicelli noodle soup with a beautiful fresh and crisp spring roll . Service was friendly, quick and efficient.

Excellent food. Very attentive to food allergies. Fast and friendly service. Can't say enough on how good the food was.

Petit resto vietnamien sympathique. Service de qualité, politesse et professionnalisme impeccables. Rouleau printanier: fait sur commande, c'est évident par la texture et la température des différents ingrédients - Excellent!!!Soupe au bœuf saignant: Différente de la soupe que je connais à Montréal (goût de bœuf plus prononcé) mais incroyablement fraîche et goûteuse. Notez que les fèves fermée et basilic sont déjà dans la soupe. Le bœuf est d'une tendreté remarquable - Excellent!!!Café glacé vietnamien: En dehors du restaurant Pho Lien à Montréal, Star Anise (Halifax) est le premier restaurant vietnamien ou l'on sert un café glacé vietnamien digne de ce nom... One of my downtown favorites! Fresh, flavorful Vietnemese dishes. would recommend the BUN, hot and sour soup, green curry lunch special, spring rolls and deep fried tofu (super crunchy).

I got it in my head I wanted Vietnamese food last night and being unable to scratch that itch I went for lunch today. Had a couple of spring rolls which were ok (but needed to have more dipping sauce on the side)What I really enjoyed was the satay beef soup. The filling was OK but the broth was very good. Nice and spicy And fragrant
