I ordered 36 cupcakes for a baby shower. Almond, vanilla and chocolate. They were delicious and enjoyed by everyone. The almond is always my favorite. Thanks so much, Sugar Love.
Sugar Love did an amazing job designing cakes for our crawfish boil celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on the day before Easter! The creative cakes were beautiful and delicious! They were able to use the cake topper from our wedding cake and used our suggestion of pastel icing between the layers. We were absolutely delighted when we saw our cakes!!
I ordered a shipped king cake charcuterie board! Hands down the BEST king cake I’ve ever had! Please note that I put the board together so it’s not very aesthetically pleasing to the eye ?don’t blame the bakery, that’s all me. I was just ready to eat it! ???
This is By Far the BEST Bakery on the Northshore. EVERYTHING they make is Absolutely Delicious; especially the cupcakes! I am Absolutely ADDICTED! The staff there is so Awesome. Ms Shannon is the Sweetest. I would send anyone with a sweet tooth and I PROMISE you will not be disappointed. I LOVE THIS PLACE.
Best king cake I've ever had. I hate icing but theirs is perfect. The cake is very moisted and its like a cinnamon roll in the middle. So good. They even put glitter on the cake!
I took a gamble on the brand of my last king cake of the season, and I bought this king cake. Bad choice. It's a wedding cake, with almond flavor. It's not a king cake. I'm so disappointed. And it was kinda expensive too. Don't take the gamble- stick to the brands you know!
I picked up a traditional Sugar Love King Cake from Acquistapace 's in Covington. For me this king cake was nostalgic. It took me back to being a kid at my grandma 's kitchen table eating king cake. This king cake is so close to what I remember or believe a traditional king cake is. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely remember this one for next year. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the packaging stated Contains one small plastic baby inside . INSIDE! I was thrilled! I thought it would really round out the tradition with actually having the baby inside like back in the day. Not only was there not a baby inside of the king cake but there wasn 't a baby inside of the packaging either. How am I certain you ask? Because I am the only person who ate on this king cake and when I had all I could have, I cut the remainder in slices and small pieces looking for the baby. Maybe the baby is just a small detail but it surely would have completed the memories if it was truly inside of the cake itself. Thanks for the great experience otherwise!
