Everything is superb here, and the prices are very reasonable. The miso soup is the best that I ever had. And I have been to at least 50 different Japanese restaurants over the years.

The quality of the sashimi of the sashimi of the sashimi is not a delicious dish, but the sashimi of the sashimi is fine, and the sashimi of the sashimi of the sashimi of the sashimi is very delicious.

Been to this place at least a dozen times (w/friends or solo) and each visit was great. The sushi is always good, as in tasty, fresh, decent portions and good value. My latest visit was for takeout. I got 2 combos (BC and spicy tuna) and a smoked salmon cream cheese (philly) roll. All the rolls were awesome esp. the Alaska roll which comes w/the BC combo, the special sauce is what makes it great. Haven't seen other places use it. Philly roll, tastes as good as it sounds. The spicy tuna sashimi in the spicy tuna combo is really good too. Love the tuna chunks, sauce & veggie bits. Food is great, service is good too but the place itself can be really crazy when its busy. Not enough waiting room, so sometimes you have to go outside or stand very close to seated customers. Fri dinnertime seemed to be pretty nuts. Takeout area seems pretty organized. When your order is ready, its bagged w/your receipt & order # attached. Regardless, just come for the food.

As someone who is located within the Metrotown vicinity, I know that if I want above average sushi, then Sushi Garden is the place to go! An absolute go to favorite!

This is our go to spot for Sushi in the greater Vancouver metro area. I think it is the best Sushi in the city. Located across from Metrotown Mall this restaurant is always busy so expect a line, expect a wait, but know that it is worth the time and effort. The Sushi here is fantastic. It's reasonably priced and always fresh. The service is always very fast, efficient and friendly. My favorite item is the salmon sashimi. You have most likely not seen sashimi like this. For $11 you get 9 big cuts of fresh melt in your mouth salmon. Anywhere else, three of these pieces cut thinner would be your sashimi order. If you prefer, you can get tuna sashimi, a mix of salmon and tuna or a bowl of spicy tuna/salmon sashimi which reminds me is a very spicy poke. We also like the BC roll with crispy salmon skin, and everything else we have ever ordered here. Two people can dine easily for under $30.

lost in translation on order. i was blamed for not checking foo. lady on phone said... they can replace if i drive back and my other sushi would not be fresh by then..another 30 min drive to with nothing but a replacement of order??this place used to have great customer servic. that what made them the best. now there are sooooo many better sushi joints out there. the flowers at this garen ar wilting!!!

Just looking for quick bite of sushi and found this gem. Great fresh food. Would recommend to anyone in Metrotown area.
