Went there for the first time on Valentine's day 2017. We heard many times before it was a good place for asian food. This was the case, both our meals were good. My partner had a sushi sample plater. He said they were good, yet not the best he's had. We both had soop, it was good. We shared spring rolls. They were yummy and the biggest ones I've never seen, but also very oily. Was surprised by that. I had the general tao platter. I had never had a general tao dish in which I could actualy taste the chicken. Instead of being chuncks of batter in a sweet and sour sauce, it was actual chicken strips, slightly battered in sauce. I liked that. Very generous portion, would have been enough for two. The decor is amazing. First time I take pictures of a public bathroom! The pound in the basement is pretty cool. Negative points: Yes, it was Valentine's day and therefore very crowded. Still, we were disappointed to have to wait 45 minutes to even place our orders. Food took a while to come in but once the soupes came the rest did not took too long to follow. Parking lot is was too small for the number of seats inside. We had circled around it and had to go park at the nearby movie theater and walk. I'd go again, but on a regular week day, not a holiday or the weekend.

Excellent food (try the General Tao you'll never forget it). You have the choice of having your meal on the first floor where it looks like usual nice restaurant. Downstairs you will have the chance to see beautiful design with small water pound with Koi in it (just fantastic). Also if you are a group you will have the chance to reserve those Japanese cabine where you will have to remove your shoes before entering, sit below ground with table almost at the floor eight (very cute) and close by those lovely Japanese "shutter" . Went there twice and the food is always a grate pleasure (bring your Sake). My second time was quite noisy with Retirement Party. The only horrible thing is the parking.... very not adequate... Since they have 2 serving/night would suggest that you arrive either at opening for the first serving or right around 7h30-7h45pm where the second serving start at 8h00 pm. Yes you have 2 hours to eat!!! Beside that it worthy every dime, it is a GREAT place to eat Very GOOD food.

Very disappointed! We were never told we had only two hours to eat. We were told to leave before serving the cake and coffee. Too crowded on Saturday nights. It seems as they take too many reservations and are not able to handle it! Had to leave with our cake and champagne and a very disappointed 80 years old lady and friends! Unacceptable!

This restaurant is beautifully decorated, upstairs is suitable for large groups, it's a bit tight for seating but seats are comfy and they have cushions randomly assigned on seats too. I was there for a group occasion. Downstairs is really quaint, they have rooms where you can have small groups and sit on tatami cushions more intimate, and here they have two sittings. The bathroom décor is nice too and they have have a nice pond at the foot of stairs.Parking for this restaurant is not good, upon arrival, I was told the parking lot was full and was directed elsewhere away from the restaurant a block away to park on the street! It's also a bring your your own wine resto! The food was ok, I had the peanut chicken, it was a big portion, I also had the sunrise salad which I enjoyed, quite refreshing, it was fruity and sweet. One ofthe dishes was saute de la mer, it came in a big bowl with seafood and a couple of deep-fried fish.... did not expect the deep-fried aspect. The other dish was on the table d'hote , it was called le bol poke, the dish was good, the only problem was, there wasn't enough of the tartare, there was such a small layer and so much rice filled underneath, definitely not worth the price charged. Definitely disappointing.......On the whole, it was ok, not sure if I would really go back again. Didn't really make that much of an impact with the food. But for a first visit you should try it, they have other dishes, the grill was very good, I'm told, and so did the sushi and it's a byob

I was pleasantly surprise by this restaurant. Although the menu is not elaborate it is a great place to go for a romantic dinner or with a large group of family and friends!Make certain you make a reservation because it’s that good! From the Sushi to the table d’hote you will not regret!Do not forget to bring your own wine!! One great feature is pond with beautiful fishes downstairs also you have the option to have individual little rooms (tatami) for group dining.

Came to this restaurant because of a Tuango coupon. It is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is beautiful, particularly the tatami type rooms downstairs by the koi fish pond and among regular tables and large Buddha statues. Aside from our Tuango menu, we tried a couple of very unique sushi that had mint, strawberries and apples. Incredibly fresh and each came with its own, accompanying dip. Food portions are generous and plates beautifully presented. Love the fact that this is also a byow! Service was excellent and food served in a timely manner. Large restaurant that is as nice for a couple's dinner as it would be for a larger gathering of family and friends.

The food was excellent and the overall decor of the restaurant is very beautiful. The service was very good and fast. When you go in the basement for the ladies room, there is a pond with beautiful fishes and invididual little rooms for group dining. You bring your own wine.
