Tappi Sushi Grill

We were here for our monthly delivery! This place is ahmazing! We had the honeymoon shooter. They were from university, so we added shrimps. It was happy hour and we have included the yummy 8 PC-sashimi that contains Albacore, salmon, yellowtail and tuna. It was beautifully presented with a flower, carrots, lemon slices and green onions. The only thing missing was the authentic Wasabi. We ordered Ikura, and I was thrilled because Ikura (salmon eggs) was scarce recently. TRY the chili green beans. It is a wonderful way to start the meal. We also ordered the bomb for $10 on the Happy Hour menu, which includes a cute mini-sake and a 4.3 fl oz Sapporo beer. We had Daniella as a server, she was wonderful. TRY the Helix Roll!

Great service, and a long happy hour menu with one dollar or two off many popular items. Overall good, but the prices are very high. You have some roles that are $30 each or more when you add taxes and tips. For this price it should be an amazing role, but they are not so impressive. I have one that should be in a cucumber pack. It was a quarter inches thick! A cucumber pack should be thin as paper. Also, just about everything has shrimps, so if you don't like shrimps or you don't eat shellfish, you really need to study the menu to find something that works, or you need to know how to customize your order. That's a pain. Most sushi restaurants have more fishing opportunities. There are also kitchen options, of course, but I didn't try them.

Tappi has a great choice. Many roles to choose and all very tasty what I tried. You also have a full bar. I enjoyed the insane role and the shrimp poppers. They have plum wine taste mochi, which was excellent.

We were looking for a new sushi connection. This place was very close to home and the fish was the best. The waitress was also very professional and efficient. My wife and I were very satisfied and have found our new sushi hangout.

The staff here are pleasant. Food is made to order. My issue is that these rolls are overpriced and underwhelming. Plus, I ordered takeout and the rolls didn't look worth the prices. One of the rolls I ordered, it was either the Protein or Tappi roll (whichever has a green sauce on top) was DRENCHED in sauce. Like the bottle cap fell off and all the sauce flooded the box or they were really trying to cover something up. None of the rolls I ordered were memorable or else I'd mention which one I actually liked.

Have reviewed this place before, sushi was fantastic as always. Went on Father's Day, got there about 1100. Was just one server working the floor. Didn't catch her name, but she handled 10 different tables and didn't miss a beat! Had an amazing attitude, smiling and attentive though extremely overtasked. Tipped well, deserved it!

Good flavors but all my rolls fell apart and they were a bit smaller in size. Here are the Protine roll and the black&yellow. The soy beans were over cooked and mushy.
