we wanted to get out of my everyday life for my brotherhood. tepanyaki was proposed. cook the food right in front of them on hot grills, with panache and style. the food is cooked with a performance of large éclat as desired. we ordered two appetizers and four meal times that contain steak, huh and seafood. there was so much to eat, we all had excellent rest to look forward to. with a tipp we spent $210. the whole restaurant was wheelchair accessible, including the toilets.

pleasant eating. had the alaska and read vegas rolling. both were good, not exceptional. the sweetheart was good, but only mushroom zucchini and whirl fried. the service has made everything reasonable. I had to press my coat on button to stay warm next to the windows. eating was better than the building looks.

always a great time in teppanyaki! service is really nice, eating is great and there is something for everyone no matter what the budget. there are some quality showmanship goes here and these young are fun to interact when they cook. I'm sure you look at it.

our dinner was spectacular! we had sushi and a meal from the hibachi side. our chief was jason. he was a joy and made a great job to prepare our food. the only complain we have is that it is hot in restaurant! do not let them discourage it from a fantastic dinner.

Fun environment with a good sized menu. Appetizers and sushi are smaller than what most people are use to, bit still tasted great. The steak was cooked to perfection, but the lobster took on too much flavor of the other food cooked on the grill. Over all it was good and I would go again.

The lady who waited on me was very welcoming. I have eaten here before and the food was amazing. This time, however, the food seemed a little dry.

Unfortunately, the prices have gotten out of control. If one were to order sushi, drinks, and an entree, don’t be surprised if that approaches $100 for one person. However, the quality is still there. I used to go all the time 3-5 years ago and it’s largely unchanged. I could eat the fried rice as a meal in if itself. It’s wonderful that Grand Junction still has its own version of Benihana.

I've been here twice. Once with a reservation at a table with the grill and a chef. Again without a reservation just in the general dining area. The experience was night and day between the two. When we showed up without a reservation it took forever to get a seat and we almost never got checked on. It took a very long time to get food and it wasn't even that good when we did get it. It felt like I should be thankful for the privilege to be there. It was like they had no interest in helping the non-reservation customers. That's okay, just make yourself a reservation only restaurant if that's all you can handle. I showed up again with a reservation and was quickly seated at a table with a prompt and kind waitress who was ready to help. It took about 30 minutes for our chef to arrive at the table and he quickly started making our meal while also demonstrating some impressive skills with his cooking utensils. The food was delicious and fresh. The chef was funny and charismatic. The one unfortunate part was when he tried throwing a piece of shrimp in everyone's mouth and my uncoordinated self couldn't achieve that again and again and again... It was all in good fun but it was embarrassing in the moment. Overall after two experiences here, I still think it's overrated. It's pretty good food, but it won't change your life. The building feels pretty run down and not super clean. The staff is awesome if you have a reservation. The prices are a tad too high for what you get in my opinion. For being located in western Colorado where Asian food isn't super popular, it's a decent restaurant to try for yourself. Just get a reservation before you go.
