Train ride I took today was not the regular train. However, it was still worth it. For people who want to touch and feed Bison, this is where they need to go. It was the best thing I did in Cheyenne. I would definitely go again.

My site was so unleveled I could not get my RV leveled. Water leaked. Got to steak house at 6:38 waited to be seated for 12 minutes (I had to find someone) they had two table. Then they told us the kitchen closes at 7pm but all the signs said 7:30. The one waitress was trying to do everything while the other 3 people stood around talking. Food was pretty good but would not go back.

We were in Colorado for a birthday trip and decided to make a day trip to Cheyenne. Being on the Cheyenne website and reading lots of great reviews, we decided to check out TBR. What a disappointment! The ranch needs some TLC, there are only a handful of bison available to see and feed (and boy does the ranch milk you for the ticket price and treats for the bison), and the gift shop is outrageous. $42 for a T-shirt and $10 for a bag of ice. Ha!There was one lady in the gift shop who was a tad bit hospitable, otherwise the employees were not friendly. The lady who took us on the bison train was ok; when taking our tickets, she was very drab, but seemed to “turn it on” when behind the mic on the train. Just didn’t seem genuine. And the train was sometimes too loud to hear what she was saying. We planned to stay to eat at the restaurant, but after experiencing the rundown ranch, lackluster employees, and overpriced gift shop, we decided to go to downtown Cheyenne for dinner.Overall, we were all very disappointed in our trip to TBR. Save your time and money.

We drove up for the day from Colorado, so I cannot speak for the overnight accommodations, but I will say that the bathrooms were pristine. We came for the Bison tour, and we had a great time! I brought my sister, college roommate, 12 year old nephew, and two toddlers, and we all loved it. The conductor was funny, genuine, and informative. There are picnic tables if you want to pack lunch, and there is also a restaurant and souvenir shop that sells snacks. I highly recommend! I recommend buying treats to feed the bison. We bought two bags and had more than plenty. We will be back!

Called and reserved with a really sweet lady on the phone and confirmed that we could use our Passport America discount. At first she said she didn’t think we could because of Frontier days. I asked if she could check for me so I waited and she came back and said actually you can it’s not in the blackout date today which is Sunday. I even asked again that they would honor the price of 28.00 and she said yes. Again she was very sweet and we even talked about our dogs. We arrived at probably at 3:45 today and the lady tells me my total of 70 something dollars. I said what happens to the 28.00? She said that’s our price because of Frontier Days. I proceeded to tell her my conversation with the girl I talked to and she said I don’t know but that’s our price. I told her all we do is travel so I plan these things out and keeps notes. She refused to honor what I was told. I asked to talk to the the girl who made the reservation but she was off. We canceled the reservation. She wasn’t rude but to not honor what I was told and obviously couldn’t make up, she should have honored it. And this is our first experience with Wyoming. Hopefully we get people true to their word. Now we go look for some more honest people…….

We stayed in the RV section for only one night. We went on the train ride to feed the Bison and we had such a great time. We able to take our choclate lab with us and he was so intrigued with the Bison. My 38 y/o daughter who has autism had so much fun feeding them. I was surprised how gentle they were. The property history was very interesting. We got to see praire dogs for the first time . It was a great experience.

The train ride and feeding the bison is an absolute must! We were told to check out Terry's Ranch from some Cheyenne locals and we're so happy we did. We sent pics out and so many people were in awe. The service was great when we called for more information and when hanging around to see the other animals we were able to help feed the baby cows. Everyone we talked to on the premise seems to love being there.

Stayed at Terry’s for one night after researching and seeing good reviews. We were very disappointed. The RV spots are very narrow and not well kept, with over grown grass, no picnic tables, if you get a table it’s basically on top of the neighbor’s sewer hookup, and potholes that fill with water and leave a muddy mess which is a pain when you have kids that are attracted to water and mud. They have high water pressure and couldn’t hook up, and our first site didn’t have power. They never asked if we wanted full hook ups when I reserved (we don’t) and when I got there they said they couldn’t refund and don’t do refunds because it’s “a hassle”, so customer service is not great. Constant traffic and train noise because they put sites right next to the highway, and yard lights are on all night shining in to tents and camper. The playgrounds were so-so, but also overgrown with grass, thistles and weeds and not suitable for kids under 3. Entrance and parking lot could use some care too with big holes. Went on the bison train which was ok. And went and saw the animals, which was a sad and stinky mess I couldn’t look at them. They had a bunch of roosters in one pen that seem to be attacking each other constantly and look unwell and uncared for. Location is convenient for Cheyenne stops but was left disappointed.
