I went on Sunday, 10th april 2022 to texas burger to durham and william st. I spent 38 for a meal for a person and was extremely disgusted by the overpriced food I had received. first I paid 12 dollars for a poutine and was not given the option of the 8 dollars at the order. no biggie, I love poutine. Well, if I'm gonna pay $12 for a poutine, I expect the pommes to be fresh. the only thing hot was the gravure and trust me hot gravy does not warm old cold pommes just turns them to mush. second, I ordered the 10oz burger. now that 14 dollar burger was dry as the Stale ben it was served and tasted pure by pfeffer, which is often made to mask the taste of old meat. oh and I paid 1.30 for cheese and received a customs on customs space. to the luck of the 6 oz burger I get back for free with my meal I did not have to pay because it was worse than the 10oz burger. I threw 3/4 of it because the meat tasting is terrible and the hockey puck backs. the only thing I enjoyed from my meal was the can of rootbeer, but this is hard to screw if it is not done there. To be honest, I will never be there again, as this is my second terrible experience with this restaurant. they turn away from this place.
