That Bar-B-Q Place

The food was great! I had brisket with coleslaw and corn bread as sides. The brisket was tender and juicy. I really like the house hot and regular BBQ sauces. I've been to BBQ joints in Houston Texas and they were pretty on point for food and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We love this place! Not fancy at all (which if fine with us) and the BBQ is soooo good! The owner is often behind the counter, if you ask him, he'll tell you how this place came about. The menu is fairly limited, which is fine as well. I enjoy the southern sweet tea as well! So glad to have found this gem in Sherwood Park!

Found my favourite restaurant as I pass through Edmonton. Had the brisket with garlic mashed potatoes. It was delicious. Loved the sauces so much I bought some to take home. Highly recommend this neat little restaurant.

Such a fun place to eat. Food is quick and so yummy!!!! It's a novelty to eat on the wooden slabs- all hands on!!! Just enough selection that there's something for everyone. Highly recommend stopping in!

A bit pricey for what you get. The food was ok. And the service was ok but I think the price did not fit. It was 60.00 for 4. And we had no extras or fancy sandwiches.

This place looks like a tiny hole in the wall joint but don't be put off by that. It has a few tables and does a big take out business. Don't look for real dishes...or even plastic ones for that matter. The menu isn't big but the food flavour makes up for it. We are staying at a near by hotel and spotted this place. The minute you enter you are hit by a wonderful smokey smell. The food came out quickly. The man behind the counter is one of the owners and I would say he loves his job. I wish I had been hungry but I opted for a side of beans. The beans were cooked to perfection and were very good. The owner said it was his own recipe. My husband had the brisket sandwich which was served on a brioche bun. I snuck a piece of brisket and it is as good if not better than we have tried in the southern states. They make their own sauces which my husband said were good...he tried all three.You won't find French fries here but I would like to,come back and try their loaded baked potatoes. This is a place I would expect to find in Alabama...not Alberta...it even has the thing most real southerners drink....sweet tea. Prices are reasonable.We wish we will closer...we would be back soon...and often. This is a real hidden gem.

I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Loved it! Great fast food without the hurry. Went with my husband one afternoon. Thank god we didn't go during the lunch hour. We got there around 11:30 before the line-up
