My husband and I have been in Blacksburg, VA for 8 years and have gone to Champ for 8 years when we were students before we went back to the area. Tonight we were told that we had to go because they accused my husband of smoking in the bathroom (what he was not). We had smoked on the balcony (in the building right outside the restaurant), which was told to us that we could not do, and we had to go down, and fortunately we were obliged. After we finished, we came up to finish our beers and cheese frits. Then we were told immediately that we had to get our food to go and go. Unfortunately there was no conversation or anything, it was just, take your food and get out.? My husband played darts every Wednesday, so it was a frequent visit. I do not recommend coming here, even after 8 years.

Bartenders are very helpful and fast, even if it is super packed. Very spacious. Nicely decorated, even dart boards. Has an upper floor and a rear terrace connecting down. Great place.
I don't think you threw the Virginia tech students out when there was a shooting... They were the only bar they didn't keep safe even waiting for Uber drivers Everyone in Blacksburg should know
Very authentic and high quality meals. The tacos are absolutely amazing along with their choripollo and quesadilla rellena. Every bite into the choripollo was an explosion of great taste! Excellent customer service and great atmosphere. Coming from DC and experiencing this restaurant, I can honestly say I am very impressed by this experience.
Food is okay. Good prices and fun atmosphere. They have good deals every week including $1 burgers on Mondays! They don't typically play music unless someone pays the jukebox so that can provide limitations. Overall I enjoy hanging out here with my buds!
Best wings in the area. Their extra hot is the perfect spicy wing in my opinion with a ghost pepper/buffalo vibe going on. Usually good draft selection and awesome deals depending on the day. Super friendly staff as well.
Love this bar! Staff is amazing, the beer is ice cold and always fresh. You can tell this place changes their beer lines regularly because the beer always tastes amazing. The vibe of this place is so chill too great music, lots of TVs and all the dart boards and pool tables you could ask for.
As far as pool halls go this place is pretty cool. Small and up a flight of stairs still a cozy and fun atmosphere with a nice selection of beer. What I think makes this place noteworthy is the staff. The bartenders are courteous and attending. Great place for a random night out.
