My wife and I were looking for something local. We have eaten at the Longest Yard before, with mixed results, so we decided to give it another chance. Our waitress Heather was incredible. She was so welcoming and accommodating. She provided recommendations and suggestions. She was the only one on staff and the place was pretty busy. We never had to wait for anything. She was on top of everything at every moment. Some of the best service I ever had. The food was also very good. I ate the veg sandwich with a side a sweet potato fries. The sandwich was very filling, had lots of veg, guac and brie. it was very good. The sweet potato fries were also wonderful. Great experience. Thank you Heather

Awesome family restaurant in the neighbourhood. Love the atmosphere! Amazing food and drinks. Plenty of gluten-free options. The lasagna is a MUST. Exceptional service- the ladies are lovely especially Brittany (our server), she's responsive, fast, friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place.

Not a bad little watering hole but not really a great spot to watch the sporting game .. the TV's are smallish and if you sit from a distance its hard to see .. An upgrade is needed or sure .. they may be able to get a deal on larger TV's or video wall from calling 905.828.1662ext 915.. The beer is cold and the service is a bit slow but friendly .. like I said its a busy spot.. Nachos are very good ...

We went here on a Saturday night for dinner with friends. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, about an hour for the appetizers and then our entrees came out while we were still eating our appetizers...the food itself was just OK...nothing to get excited about. We all had something different and felt the same. Our server was lovely...but the wait was just so long. The restaurant itself was clean and modern and the staff were all friendly. We all were looking forward to dinner here...but don't foresee returning after a disappointing experience.

Recently had lunch at The Longest Yard with my wife and young son, and old school friend. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food was very tasty. And my son was treated to colouring sheets, a balloon and lollipop for being well behaved.I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Stopped by for dinner tonight with my friend and were pleasantly surprised. First, the establishment is very clean and modern. The waitstaff is just the right amount of attentive and friendly - the perfect amount actually. The food wasn't bad, a couple modifications could move it to great though. I had the pulled pork sandwich and the meat was a bit dry to my liking, but the cabbage topping adding a really pleasing crunch to the sandwich that kept my mouth happy. My friend had the basic burger and he said it was as expected but he would order more toppings next time. You could easily take a date here and they'd be impressed.

Pit stop at The Longest Yard for a fast lunch turned out great. We had chicken wings, made to order, and very tasty. The place has a number of TV screens to watch your favorite sport. There is also an option to have your meal outside, on the patio. We were very satisfied with the service and food, would we go again? A big Yes.

Knew the one on Mount Pleasant and wanted to try this one. Service was good and wings were very good - few TVs so overall it was a good experience - Would be a fun place to hang out
