my husband and I had lunch (on texas toast and a pecan pie bar for dessert, warmed--so yummy: . today a friend took for her bday for breakfast. Had I thought it was called The Mad Baker Breakfast 2 eggs, fresh homemade cookies only from the oven, geese and bacon. Everything was great - especially the cookie!! Because it was Friday..Cinnamon Rolls came out of the oven and had to--was absolutely delicious. Catch this place on a Friday or Saturday - only days she makes her cinnamon rolls.promise it will not disappoint!

If you visit Vicksburg, then this is a great place to park the motorcycle, have a great breakfast and go the riverfront. Amazing place with friendly service. We will return with our children.

We visited Texas and wanted a dessert after lunch. The Mad Baker didn't disappoint! I had a delicious brownie the size of a small plate! The owner or manager (I am not sure what) was very friendly and friendly and made us very welcome! If you're ever in the area, check it out. If we had been there another day, we would have gone back to lunch.

We stopped for a late lunch on Saturday after touring the battlefield. We'd had a big breakfast so we weren't very hungry. My husband had the chicken dumpling soup and he's been raving about it ever since. I had the chicken, pesto and fresh spinach panini which was fresh and fabulous. The baked goods looked wonderful but we were too full to try them. Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind. There was a child's birthday party in the back room and people were enjoying themselves in what seems to be fast becoming a community gathering spot. If you're in Vicksburg, don't miss this spot.

My grandmother and I come every Friday to eat a cinnamon roll and drink coffee. We love the friendly staff and the atmosphere, especially the Christian music that’s always playing. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

We stopped by today on our way to Jackson from Louisiana. We were immediately greeted. The food was delicious, we had the egg sandwich with toast, cheese grits, and bacon. My husband has gone on on about how good it was and I agree! We got cookies to go and they were equally as yummy! We will definitely be back!
