Every place we spoke to in Charleston insisted that we visit this roof bar for drinks and views. When we arrived at the hotel, we waited to get to the elevator to drive to the bar and enjoyed seeing all the fun art in the lobby in the Vendue. Once upstairs we were very confused about how dead the bar was. We were there at 9:30 a.m. on a Saturday, but you wouldn't know it based on how empty it was and all the fumes we heard about this place. Drinks were served in plastic cups and the views were OK, but expects more after the whole hype?

Great ambience, and perfect place to go, have drinks and views of downtown Charleston's skyline. Take a hat and shades when the sun shines bright, only if you don't have a table with a screen.
I've never eaten in Vendue, but if I'm for drinks on the rooftop bar, we're always excited to interact with Billy. His service skills are unbelievable and he makes everyone happy! Give the man a raise.
James at the bar was great, and made me one of the best old fashions I ever had!!! This place is amazing and I will be back in Charleston next time.
Beautiful 360 deg view of downtown! Several various levels and areas with 2 separate bar areas. Table service as well. We did late afternoon drinks abs shared the warm heirloom tomato dip fabulous). There are TV's on the main level to catch a game but multiple areas to enjoy the view!
Rooftop is amazing. Ask for James. He is the Italian with the great mustache. What a great experience! The drinks are so delicious!
The fish tacos were watery and salted but not seasoned. Everything quickly became mush and soggy. You almost needed a spoon to eat it. The sunset spritz was strong and delicious! The cucumber margarita was interesting...almost tasted like a mojito but with tequila
Awesome views and well priced. James was friendly and made great drinks. Definitely a great place to hang out in Charleston.
