Thomas Sweet Ice Cream

There is a line outside this place. There's nothing special about ice cream. I don't know why there are many people here. They charged us 30 cents for each cone, just because we asked to be our ice cream in a cup with a cone above! I don't even know what the hype is. There is hardly a milk-free option The only option is sorbet, which is quite typical, they do not have milk-free ice.

This place was terrible never come here as soon as I entered, I did not see the workers wearing gloves and it was only about all really inconvenient they were aslo really rude And most toppings had flies up, but I must say that the ice is not bad

We loved the ice last time we were over! While the restaurant could definitely use an interior upgrade, they really deliver on the ice, taste and aromas. Above the entire counter is a table of all kinds of flavors they have. There were so many interesting taste names and types apart from the normal. We had the butter bricks and the coffee chocolate (forgot the exact name) flavors. The butterstone had a sweet butter cream flavor with light notes of caramel and butterscotch. The coffee and chocolate ice cream was also particularly good with all the right espresso notes! I am sure there are many other beautiful flavors to choose, and have I mentioned that they give massive pots?

Great ice cream! Always a must have if your in Georgetown craving a nice ice cream. My go to order is the coffee ice cream and it takes delicious service is great! I recommend not going at night if you don't want a line but it's pretty busy during the summer but the line is fast.

Ice cream was good, but the service was abysmal. Three guys who leaned against the back machines. Place was jammed on a nice Thur night. We went back on Friday afternoon. It was clear that they had some new family members working who spoke little English. I ordered a large size, which was too much to eat at one sitting. I asked for a takeaway container and they refused; they acquiesced, but wanted to charge me 50cents. I said words to the effect of, I just spent 25 and u won 't give me a cup? At that point they gave me a cup and lid, but said 'only this one time (crazy, given that the place is a mine) . I WILL DEFINITELY NOT GO BACK

Really great ice cream, wide selection and prompt service. I’m surprised no one mentioned the sizing system in the reviews. It’s crazy because everything is not as it seems. If you ask for a small it will be huge, if you ask for a large it will be tiny. It seems like a practical joke but it’s not. It’s weird because they point to the cup sizes and ask small medium or large and then give you a completely different cup then the one they just pointed at. Super weird

They were unfortunately out of quite a few flavors but they have a lot to choose from to begin with. It would've been nice to have signs on the menu when they run out of a certain flavor or item. The prices are also a little higher than I like but I'll have to go back and try more flavors to see if it's worth it.What we got:Bittersweet milkshake 5* really great flavor. The dark chocolate is not too sweet and is really perfect. It was a great shake to sip and enjoy.
