Verona Pizza

Man, all I have to say is check as meat lover pizza you will not be disappointed!

My wife was in a baby shower for our daughter-in-law who was expecting next month. So they spent time in the Aberdeen Manor Ballroom. We went to Verona at the other end of the spectrum. I love it! It was time to go there several times. Unfortunately, we did not plan our timing properly. We could eat our loaded side winders there, but the waitress had to ask to go our calzone. Go. She did a great job. .

My first time in Verona, it was good to stop. We are often in Valparaiso. Have noticed their restaurant several times, but have never been. Must be a quick stop today because we waited for others. Really enjoyed it. Love the atmosphere. Will be back to see us a Bears game. Hold down!

A really nice atmosphere that has live music and a bar. Stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Their Italian Beef sandwich on crusty garlic bread was amazing and the portions are generous. Great service and value for your money.

Best pizza in all of Porter County! I drove down from Chesterton 12 miles away to get Verona Pizza. The sauce, quality toppings and abundant cheese make it the best! Try their Friday deal...1 extra large 2 topping pizza, bread sticks and 2 L of pop for $26!

I thought this place would be good seeing as I don 't eat pork and they had a few meat options for toppings including beef, gyro and chicken. The pizza wasn 't the worst I 've had but pretty close. The dough was great if the edges weren 't hard like it was microwaved. The sauce was way too tangy, made me feel as if they added some special ingredients they shouldn 't have. The meat and cheese was tasteless but bearable if you get me. Not greasy.Cheese sticks were salty and not crispy at all. The onion rings were bland as well, couldn 't tell if there was any onions in them. I would never go back here again to be honest, my wife picked it up so I don 't even know how much it cost but I know it was well over priced for what it was because we got it from Uppity Valparasio area. OH and the wait time was 45 minutes at 5pm... Really? Nobodies ordering pizza at 5pm on the dot on a Monday.

Had a birthday party there for a 3 year old. The pizza, salad and wings were amazing. Couldn't have been happier with our servers... they did an awesome job and even offered to help with decorating our private party room. Eric and Dana were both so kind and very accommodating. I highly recommend!!
