The food is great here but I didn't feel like the owner was very friendly. Someone in our party Needed to urgently use the washroom. There is one located in the restaurant but the owner would not allow us to use it and sent us out of the restaurant to the public restroom. Not very cool!
This place was Great for our Date Night! The server was friendly. The interior is very well designed and decorated and the Patio seating is nice! The best part about this place is all of the Amazing Gluten Free options! The lemon rice soup was complimentary with our order and OMG it is delicious! We had the Steak and Shrimp, which was cooked right and was very flavourful. My Risotto with Shrimp was good. The flavour was nice and the Shrimp were cooked perfectly. I found the risotto was a bit mushy for my liking, but risotto can be difficult to perfect so I try not to be picky about that. Besides, The cream sauce on it was so tasty it made up for it! I think my favourite part of the meal was the Strawberry Lemonade spiked with vodka! It was amazing. wish I had room for another one but the portion sizes of the food were generous and very filling! We will DEFINITELY be back to try more menu items!

How often do you go to a restaurant and right from entering to establishment to departure, you were just "blown away" from the courtesy extended to you, servers positive and polite demeanor, lunch menu choices, ambiance, super clean wash room, menu selections done to perfection, windows that let the sun shine in, and fair pricing.Three business associates who had a 1.5 hour most enjoyable lunch on July 13/17, and who traveled from various areas of Edmonton, "thank you."
Our experience was that the food was lacking flavor and hoping for a better experience next time. Looks like a lot of people come here to drink! There are 2 ways to enter the restaurant and we were seated near the street entrance so people were constantly streaming in and looking at us while waiting to be seated. It was not an intimate experience and we were there on our date night. Service was slow at first but good later. Will try again next time we can get a babysitter which could be a few months wait.
Great food and even better atmosphere. It is always an enjoyable evening at Vicky's Bistro Bar. Great for all occasions.
Vicky's never disappoints. This family run restaurant is a great place if you're looking for a patio or in-door eating with underground parking, friendly staff, good food and prices. AND you can make reservations even on a Friday or Saturday night.
