Villa Del Mar

the fried fish is good. the caldo de mariscos tlalpeño is delicious. the tacos too much extra oil on the tortillas, with silantro and tweeper for perhaps a taco. the ceviche, looks great, but no taste (at least when we went) did not even cost that it had lemon. the margaritas are good for the price. the garnel cocktail had to be extra tomato sauce. if do not want to use clamato, diluted. boring and ships are great. tortillas great. el tabasqueño (fish) was great. lemonade good. service very good service.*note does not cheft ready to change the menu even if the difference paid.

had a good eating, but the waitress seemed new and a little slow took a while to bring sugar for my tee.

we came to dinner on Friday night. we sat immediately, but waited about 10 minutes before a server approached us. she said they were trapped in the kitchen. we waited 10 minutes and she came over her shoulder all the time. she looked very eager or perhaps overwhelmed. ? we placed our food order when she got our drinks. my sohn ordered tacos minus the beans and they were brought with beans, we sent the back and they fixed the order, he had asked for sweet tee and got limonade, but he still drank it. When he asked for a lemonade refill, did he get sweet tee? my daughter ordered a cucumber margarita, but after about 5 minutes waiting, she was told that the mish broke off so that she could not do it for her. Moreover, eating was good and our server seemed to try to make a good job. I will probably go back to add more stars. they also have a children's menu. fyi* the complete menu is only Spanish and our server spoke only Spanish. I am not sure if this was a problem for non-Spanish speakers. I had to translate for my family, but if I weren't there, they wouldn't know what the most elements were in the menu.

Sarandeado fish was awesome! Had the avocado salad, Fresh flavor. FRESH SNAPPER!

Unfortunately can not give a review on food, however, 1 star for service and forgetting to put in our order. We sat patiently until finally we got our servers attention, she spoke Spanish so possibly a language barrier but still no excuse as we gave her our order in Spanish as well. Service was non existent as she forgot we were there in an almost empty restaurant. Will not go again, first impressions are key and this was not that.

Always great food and service

The food was great. This Plate was for 2 but it could have easily fed 3 people.It was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed.
