Surprisingly, for it's location next to State Fair park and in West Allis, it competes with 5 star hotels, IMHO. Bed comfortable, lots of pillows, and everything worked! Heat, TV, water pressure, doors, lights. It was quiet, despite my room being next to the elevator on the 4th floor. Most profoundly, it was literally the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Not a dot of dirt in corners, near the furniture, spotless. And the breakfast competes with $15 restaurant ones. I stayed 3 days, and had Denver Omelets 2 days, plus pork sausage or bacon, fried potatoes that were actually fried. Yogurt, 2% milk, oatmeal, toast, bagels and cream cheese plus several other toppings like peanut butter, jellies, etc. and four kinds of bottomless juices--my fav is the cranberry. Restaurants seldom do bottomless juice in the mornings. For only $120 a night, you can't do better. I mean it, literally can't do better if you want comfortable, quiet sleep, a decent-size bathroom, and everything works as expected.
