a nice little family gem where they are ice, sweets, fudge, milkshakes etc., play minigolf, pool, airhockey, and other games both inside and outside sitting, the inside seat/playroom was well air-conditioned, very comfortable helpful staff eis was absolutely tasty, much better than friendly only complaining that they did not take credit cards, I had to use a money

rick stevens, owner of the zems, has decided to kill a dog while he was stuck in a zaun. he shot him in the back quarter and the dog suffered more than two hours. Your community helped you with your loss, and now no one will help you. I hope it was worth it.
Zem's is now serving ice cream during the winter!! Yay!! Plenty of space inside to sit and eat, too. Friendly and helpful service!
Only vegan “ice cream” nearby! It’s so nice to have a place to enjoy ice cream as a family where everyone can get a treat one of my sons has a dairy allergy and my husband is lactose intolerant.
Creamy ice cream, friendly service. Also, a lovely area with picnic tables and a caboose for the kids to explore. Easy to park a trailer. We will be stopping here anytime we are passing by on the Thruway in NYS!
Summer has finally arrived so who wants ice cream!? If you're in Canastota the only answer is Zem's. Just a couple minutes from Rt 5 this shop has 48 different ice cream flavors to try. And that's not counting the soft serve, frozen yogurt, sundae's, shakes, and floats you can order. So. Many. Options. There's a decent amount of parking... so don't worry about that. And there's a bunch of tables (next to the Mini Golf course) for sitting and enjoying your cup or cone. Staff was as nice and prices for scoops are as reasonable as you'd imagine for this small town ice cream shop. Worthy of a stop if you're in the area for sure.
