My family for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother's birthday on Friday. We called 30 minutes ahead, but the place was nice and quiet as they welcomed us quickly. We had three traditional teas $29 per person for their own teapot, finger sandwiches, scones and other delicious desserts), and a few a la carte orders. Everything was so delicious. My mother forgot to share her asparagus quiche, my brother disappeared his spinach quiche. The tomato bisque was light and creamy, the cream of the mushroom soup was divine. We all loved the raspberry cake! The cookies were a perfect crunchy edge and chew inside. The mini lemon tarts were enchanting! I had the cream brittle tea with cream and sugar that was as heavenly as I had imagined. They were kind and courteous as it was a Lent Friday, we asked for meatless options and they made us gracious a few tomatoes avocado finger sandwiches instead of their usual third option that had a meat in it, but the egg salad and cucumber finger sandwiches were also super good. We even enjoyed their piano soundtracks that showed classics and even pop tunes.
