Haven 't been to Rhodes since 2005 when visiting my cousins that live in Beulaville. Can still taste the southern iced tea, hush puppies, coleslaw and all that we had to eat that last visit. The food at the time was super delicious and the service very friendly. Love the cozy atmosphere and the ol ' timey companionship of friendly neighbors! To our mother 's dying day (96 yrs. in 2016) all she wanted was one last ham biscuit from her home town Rhodes Grill. Sorry to say we weren 't able to get her one as we live in California. The house where she grew up is gone but now a bank just down the street from Rhodes. They have been in business many, many years. Try it, you 'll like it.
