they love this place, so eccentric and unique and never were in a restaurant quite like that. it is a noved to lindenhursts German inheritance and it is family owned. on Saturday evening we sat and the place was packed, but we sat within minutes (and without reservations). there was live music, a man who played German music on an akkordeon who was super fun, a wooden wheel that had a fountain in the entrance style, and decoration that reminds them of a small German city. some might say that the decor is a little corrosive, but we thought it made our night more out of an experience than just a simple old dinner. pretzel that they bring out, instead of brot are AMAZING...warm, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. the beer selection is amazing as they make it in the house. the decor makes fun and makes the environment feel as if they are in a small German village. waitresses wear German themed costumes that is a sweet, funny note. <br br/> the service was definitiw slow, but since I saw how it was busy and my friend and I were not in the hurry, we did not notice too much and the waitress apologised us several times. also warning: parts are huge. we could probably have shared a escape between us. prices are appropriate.
