I don?t know what the deal is that they will now only take online orders, but it is RIDICULOUS. There are times when this is just not convenient or feasible, and much of their clientele is senior citizens who do not like or cannot access this method. They absolutely answered their phone and TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE BUSY AND TO GO ONLINE! What? I have been eating here for years and giving them tons of business (I have a huge family). No more. UPDATE: 99 Restaurant wants to know the location to discuss with me, so here is my follow up: Stratford, CT, and the follow up can be with the restaurant, their policies, procedures, and politeness. So many restaurants tanked during the pandemic. It 's loyal customers like me who kept places thriving. Chain restaurants are a dime a dozen. I am still shocked and will not return. Whoever answered the phone there blew it. Great job. I have never heard someone say, We 're a little busy. Who says that???? I am a family of 9 don 't talk to me about busy. That is YOUR JOB!
