Hearing the hype sometime worries me. But still we gave it a try. The hipster feel of the new Aristologist is at first a bit overwhelming but the staff warm to us well. The wine menu reads of new world style wines with limited information on styles. It needs to be said some of the wines are very average for a hefty price point. The menu reads of shared food, no problem, lots of local products, great. The portions were very small and although most items tasted really good, some of the items were very touchy freely in flavour. The desserts were nice and pleasant without the wow factor that was expected in the hype. If dining with friends in a four and want a full meal, order all the menu in full. We left disappointed....
