Horrible experience! I went here just a few hours ago wanted to get ice cream with my fiance. I’m pregnant have been craving some ice cream, my father who was visiting wanted me to get him a hot fudge sundae so we made the trip. Like always they were busy closing for the night, but the store was empty so I thought it wouldn’t be a bother to order some ice cream, at a store that is known for their ice cream. Shift supervisor Zach was very polite to the customer in front of me. Then when my and my fiancé came up to the register he greeted us and was very friendly until I said, “could we do some ice cream please?” To which he ignored then said our total. I’m very sick right now so I just assumed he couldn’t hear me. So I said a little louder, “Could we please actually add a hot fudge sundae?” And he -yells- at me “Hot fudge what!? What do you want!?” And again I’m very sick so I tried to speak up and I said “a bit fugue sundae please” to which he yells in my face again, “yeah I get that we’re out of most of our flavors” and I said “that’s okay, I’d just like that one with vanilla.” He rolls his eyes and looks disgusted making the “sundae.” At this point I was so uncomfortable getting upset since I’m pregnant and felt like I was such a burden getting ice cream at an ice cream store. He drops a bowl of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge on the counter and said “have a good night” to which we responded. “We were actually gonna get some more ice cream if that’s okay” to which he yells our total out once again. My fiancé just paid Zach since it felt like we were being ignored. Immediately after we paid he leaves. I yelled over “could I actually get whipped cream cherries on this?” To which he rolled his eyes and walked away. There was nothing friendly, welcoming, polite, or even Remotely appealing about this experience. Stewart’s, you have the option to serve ice cream. It’s part of the job. Your employees are trained on how to do it. This was at 9pm at night, it wasn’t right before close the store was empty. If this is a service you offer I shouldn’t be left crying in the car ride home because I just got yelled at over wanting ice cream from an ice cream store. Again I’m pregnant and very sensitive, and was ignored when I tried to order more ice cream. This is the 3rd time I’ve gone here and the other experiences were similar. Your workers should treat all customers equally, but at this store everyone ordering ice cream is treated much differently. Horrible Stewart’s since this has happened before.
