About 1 1/2hr east of Quebec City and 45 minutes west of Rivière-du-loup on the south shore of the St.Lawrence River, Cap Martin Motel and Restaurant in La Pocatière is a fabulous stop just off Highway 20. This old style comfy motel diner is an unexpected treat. and the food is fabulous. All the walls are adorned with original art. Open 24 hours a day this restaurant features home made food and has a nice variety of $16.95 table d'hôte specials. On our noon time visit we had a choice of Milanese veal osso bucco, fish and seafood stew and a chicken penne. Each special had a choice of one of three homemade soups, a dessert and beverage. Each dish was prepared elegantly and served quickly. It's hard to believe this is a motel restaurant.
We stopped in here for breakfast on our family road trip from Ontario to Nova Scotia. We had no idea what we were in for - just pulled in off the highway. And boy were we glad we did! Food was cooked perfectly, menu had great variety and was very economical and the service was stellar! Chantal our server was wonderful and we were completely satisfied when we departed for the next leg of our trip. Definitely recommend stopping here!

home food. the menu of the day includes soup (2 or 3 choices), main dish (3 choices,) coffee (large format) and dessert for $15,95. It's affordable and delicious. In addition, the lunch service is fast enough. Whether for lunch, dinner or dinner, it's always good and clean. I recommend it!
The place to go is the way! always excellent, warm welcome, impeccable service! new look and menu more than attractive! We have the taste to take everything on the menu! Bravo to the whole team!
restaurant and hotel near the highway, great for snowmobiles in winter, menu really current and excellent choices. the staff is very welcoming and the administration also. Renewal, new look! Super glass, nice atmosphere. I love eating at this restaurant every time. the menus announced on their facebook page are very appealing. To try!
Very well eaten this noon! a meeting room we eat like kings salmon pasta with raspberry pie! I'm telling you to go eat is great!
