Nice place to get a plate of food. Service was excellent and the food was fresh and uniques. Tried the pot roast and the meatloaf. They were both amazing. Will be back for sure.
Nice atmosphere. We’ve eaten here maybe three times, and the food was pretty good. At the time, they had an okra salad, but this is no longer on the menu (as of our last visit about a month ago). Little disappointed w/ COVID guidelines on our first visit, back before the vaccines. Bartenders were serving customers and had their masks below their mouths/chins. On our last visit, my husband ordered the roast beef and really liked it. I ordered a Brussels sprout rice bowl. Would not order again though-rice was crunchy and I don’t care for blackened brussel sprouts. Minimal entree selection for vegetarians. Variety of craft beer on tap. Samples provided for 25 cents (about a shot glass size). Food is priced similar to surrounding breweries in West Jefferson. Music has been hit/miss for our 50+ ages. Sometimes too trendy/harsh, sometimes appropriate for all ages.
Great place! Don’t plan this as a quick stop for just one beer. They have so many great beer options and also wonderful quality food. The environment was also very relaxed and welcome. Elaine was one the the best people to welcome me to this town. She gave great recommendations and is very knowledgeable.
Boondocks catered the rehearsal dinner for our wedding and knocked it out of the park. Penny (the catering director) handled last minute guest changes very well, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was phenomenal. We even stopped by and had dinner at the restaurant our first night in town. Highly recommend for dinner or events!
Food is always great! Tonight I had the rib-eye pork, mixed vegetables and small potatoes. The most tender, flavorful meal I have had anywhere in a long time. Service was great! That is why we keep coming back.
The food, drinks and service are too notch. They have unique food options and I'm truly saddened that they don't ship their beer to other areas. Don't pass this place up if you are in the area. Elaine made us feel welcome and guided us for an amazing experience
