Country living, country food! Great food and friendly staff! Steam table lunch daily and the breakfast is awesome.

My husband and I took our friends here this past weekend and we're amazed with the food! Three of us had the chicken fried steak, and we all enjoyed it. Our friends wife had chicken strips and said they were very good. You order at the counter and they will bring it out to you, shortly. We will definitely come back to Sweeney for lunch, as their food was very fresh and a great atmosphere. They also have a drive through window, and not cheap on their portions.

Best place to eat hands down. They are always busy but their food is worth going. Their prices are very reasonable not expensive at all. It's worth every cent

11 of us from Biker Church in Manvel came here to eat. Had a great meal and excellent fellowship. Had fried chicken and fries. FOOD WAS GREAT!! SERVICE WAS GREAT!!!!.

It's becoming a favorite place to eat! But don't get in a hurry the pace is a bit slower here! The food is always great! Two of my favorites are the club sandwich and their fried fish! You can't go wrong here but slow your roll!!!

This place serves the best burger I ever had. An I travel the United States about 300 days a year. An eat out 100% of the time . So when I say they got a HECK of a burger , it's a AWSOME burger.. I ordered a double meat cheese burger with grilled jalapeños , it was so much food I couldn't finish it,, it was well over a pound... it is a must visit if in the area....

I have been to the Bulldog Cafe several times for lunch and the burgers are great. Service always seemed okay. My family and I went for dinner tonight and again, the food was good. Much better than most places that seem to think that putting out a plate of something is okay. But, service was atrocious. We ordered our food at the counter as usual, but it took over an hour to get the food. Not sure what the deal is, but it doesn't take long to cook a Chicken Fried Steak or Steak Fingers.
