We were lucky enough to win Date Night and everything was amazing!! We were welcomed by the managers, employees and chef on arrival!! They sat at a cozy table and got us a bottle of wine!! From there we have starters, then an amazing shrimp and corn bisque then our meal! The steak was boiled directly into the mouth!! My husband fish was perfectly cooked and really spiced! The potato cake was for!!! The food is from this world!! Then we were sooo filled and still had desert! OMG the bread pudding!! I couldn't move after dinner it was all so good. Thanks again for this amazing experience and thanks for the wonderful staff and the fantastic cook Bonnie! Mr David also thank you for everything and for everything being perfect!! I recommend every date or night!!

Stephanie Dickerson and I just had dinner here. It was amazing! We had a couple of beers each. an app by Krebs Spinat Di, salad with housewear. Steph had The Teche Wellington and I had shrimps and eggplants. The food was amazing and the portion size was perfect. Price and service was also great! If you make your way to Pont Breaux. I highly recommend this place.

Staff is top notch Today for the first time for lunch. The place is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. The cancer spinach had dipped as an appetizer – AAZING. Husband had the land Fried Ribeye with cheese Grits and I had the Teche Wellington (get this!!!! DO IT) and grilled asparagus and we shared. Absolutely phenomenal!!! Can't even explain how exquisite the flavors are. In each individual court the wort was on point. Of course we couldn't go without dessert. Split a bread pudding... and Nabeby practically licked the plate. Excellent!!! Thanks again and again to a wonderful waitress (Renee) and a phenomenal cook (Bonnie) for an absolutely wonderful experience.

Stopped in today for lunch and was far from disappointed. The atmosphere was great, my server was Ben he was excellent from start to finish, very friendly perfect service. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo, it was perfect temperature and perfect seasoning. Also, had the chicken Sydne Mae as my main lunch course. It was a wonderful blend of all the ingredients and a phenomenal dish prepared by chef Bonnie! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Staff super. Gave us mouth watering details of each dish and thoughts on each. Owner of St John restaurant in St Martinville came by. The dinner was off the charts The corn maqcheu very good. Stuffed flounder and fried shrimp and gumbo excellent choices.

Last night, my wife and I spent the evening enjoying a few cocktails and great food at Cafe Sydnie Mae. Wow, what a special place. You see, I have eaten at many places in my life but it 's not only the food( which was incredible) but the family atmosphere and the local flavor not to mention the great staff who all work in unity to make each customer happy. Chef Bonnie showed why people love her and David was very friendly and a great host. 'Cheers ' and we 'll see y 'all again. (BTW- 2.5 hour drive)
