This is a friendly local restaurant. Have to be watching it or you will miss the sign. Not much to look at from outside and inside is simply done. However, the food is well prepared and plentiful. We had fried clams, scallops and creamed lobster. All were satisfying. Easy to have enough for taking some home. The waitress was chatty and friendly. Restaurant not licensed.
The exterior is very plain in appearance, the interior even less encouraging. But the food is excellent.
Good place to eat for delicious seafood. Menu consists of other item also. Overall good food, friendly service and a good chance to meet the locals.
I love Captain Wayne's Cafe! They have excellent food and very friendly wait staff :) You must try the poutine, it is a personal favourite of mine. Also try the seafood, it is excellent!
We stopped and had the seafood platter, fried haddock and cream lobster. The cream lobster had very little lobster, so was disappointing. The seafood platter had scallops and clams, both of which were just okay. The fried haddock was good. The onion rings and fries...were only okay as well. Perhaps we are expecting too much?
