The restaurant and bar at Coco Marina are outstanding. The wait staff are the best and the food is delicious. A winning combination. My friends and I ordered up fish dip, onion rings, gator bites, gumbo, and fish tacos. This spot is not one too miss. The gator bites are the most tender ones I’ve ever eaten and the remoulade perfect. The onion rings were made from scratch and crisp. The tacos and gumbo were flavorful. The fish dip was a hit. The kitchen obviously takes great pride in its cuisine. The drinks were mixed expertly and the beer nice and cold. One tip: don’t miss the Bushwacker. A boozy, ice cream concoction which, after fishing a good part of the day restores your energy. OK, it may not be medicinal, but it’s delicious!

We’re from South Carolina and came down to visit friends. Took the boat out and found this place. A few locals warned us before we entered but we were hungry and thought we’d try anyway. We stood at the door for 10 minutes or so. Not a soul greeted us. We found an employee and asked about being seated. We were told, and I quote, “We’re too busy so y’all have a nice day!” We don’t treat folks like this in SC so it was a shock to us. We of course left hungry and will absolutely never try this place again in the future. What a shame too because it was a cool looking place just horrible management.
Before this weekend I would have said I love this place! Decorated cute on the water with great views...food is usually good. Went down for dinner Saturday night 4 of us, 3 had gumbo and 1 burger. Took them 3 hours to get us our food!! At about the 2 hour mark, couple cigarette breaks and on our 3rd beer I started to ask around about our food everyone just said I don't know guess you have to wait..30 minutes later and still no food I asked for a manager. After nicely explaining the situation to the owner she looked at me said honey your on bayou time you can wait. 3 hours for a burger and some gumbo?? I will never go back after being treated that way!!
