I eat as often as I can. they always have my order ready in time and it is never wrong. I love her curry sauce, no matter what style it's all good. I had a few other style restaurants in the columbus area and I'm always coming here. this place is my favorite.

we had some chicken masala and fish curry for dinner and ordered some extra butter naan online. the food was prepared in time and packed well, and it remained hot when we came home. the restaurant is also clean and high-end, with a sportable. Maybe we'll try to eat. very recommend to give it a try. be careful, however, when you see sharp on the menu; it is really spicy

we had recently a birthday and graduation party at the restaurant dawat and banquet. the food was good. the service was very bad. there were two parties, and only two employees took part. we had to tell them that they had to refill the food. only a few of our guests could not get the food because it was not filled again. the most embarrassing problem we had to face was that they used very cheap foam panels for the Man-Gang dinner. we have never seen this kind of cheap foam products that are used for hot eating in any banquet hall. the foam plates had only 3 compartments and we had 6-7 items. so the plates were so cheap that it could not even hold three objects and it was bending. when we told the owner about this problem, he was constantly fighting about it. we were so embarrassed with this type of bad service and foam plates used for dinner on our party after so much money spent. I hope the owner learns from this and repeats not the same for other parties.

We had a party for 40+ people in their party room. Every guest (mostly Americans) enjoyed the food very much. We had them prepare the food mild so that many who are trying the Indian food for the first time would enjoy. All the items were prepared and served well. The owner and staff were very flexible and friendly to work with. I highly recommend this place for you party and general needs. For the wedding the next day, we had them deliver Chicken 65. We were not sure if many Americans would love it. I am glad to say that the entire tray was gone in about 10 minutes. Daawat exceeded my expectations.

We ordered food for our kids graduation party . The food was so delicious , all my guests were asking where it was from. We had a live dosa station too. It was super hit with guests of all ages. Staff was so friendly and professional. This will be our go to place for all our parties from now on and the cherry on the top was food was ready for the time it was asked which is not very common with majority of the Indian restaurants. This place hit all check boxes for me, if you are planning your next party and not sure where to order don?t look any further this place is the best in Columbus and chef Sathy is very passionate in cooking and it shows when you eat his food.

I am changing my review as this is now opened with new name and new management. I have been to this restaurant recently since the name changed to Daawat. It?s not only name change it?s all the interior, chef and taste as well. I liked the interior colors and designs. I am being vegetarian tried some new vegetarian starter and they were amazing tasty. I liked the peanut in the cone it?s masala peanut served in papad cone. The food tastes amazing. They do have bar if you want to enjoy drinks like beer, scotch and wine.

We were in the neighborhood and decided to order takeout from this place! We ordered the chicken dum biryani, chicken 65, chicken tikka masala and plain dosa (not pictured here). We arrived home only to find out that the dosa was missing. We called back and they apologized and asked if I could come back to get the dosa and they gave me mango lassi for the inconvenience. The food also included sambar, chutney, kheer and raita as sides. Although a little pricey, I will the say that food was spot on and the quantity was sufficient to feed us a family of 4 (2 adults, infant and toddler) for 2-3 meals. Everything tasted excellent. We will definitely be back when we are in town.
