I’ve stopped in here three times now. Their sandwiches are reasonably priced but everything else is pretty outrageous. I’m talking $8 for a pack of Newman’s Own cookies. But if you’re in the area and need something quick, it serves the purpose. Produce seems relatively fresh. Wish they had a real restroom.

It's a staple in Bodegea. It's been there forever and it has the best view for a grocery store. Staff were friendly and nice. The parking lot is almost always full and popping. They have hot food and groceries. Stop if you forgot something or just need a pick me up.

Quick stop while driving on Pacific coast hwy. We didn't get any of their cooked food, but what I saw looked good. Good little convenience store with a surprisingly good selection

I have been traveling to bodega bay for 50 years. Bodega bay and is deeply a part of our family. My children grew up tent camping on the coast. Diekmann's store has always been our favorite store. they have everything that you might have forgotten or used up during your vacation camping trip. They make amazing pizza, their deli is amazing. The people running the facility are very happy friendly and helpful. So the next time you're traveling North on the PCH /Hwy 1 stop in and see all that they have. From hoodies to shirts that say Bodega bay, to fishing and camping supplies they have everything you might need, including a massive selection of wine and liquor. Or did I mention they make incredible PIZZA . Thank you to Diekmann's for always providing my family with the provisions to make our trips to the ocean the best memories.

The good... When you don’t bring antihistamine and you need to buy some. There is a lot of ready to go food and the person preparing was nice. The bad... 10.00 for some antihistamine. The parking lot is difficult to navigate and really hard to pull out on onto Hwy 1.

I've driven past this place my whole life and just now have gone in. It's more than meets the eye for sure. If you're camping anywhere near by this is a great pitstop for any need.

Good location for quick items you need like a pizza, milk, beer wine, ice, limited fishing tackle, quart oil for boat or RV at reasonable price for tourist town.

As a former restaurant owner, I try to give breaks where I can go to other places that might have a bad night. Lucas Wharf, however, tested my compassion. There on a recommendation from a colleague who had good things to say. The place seemed cozy and welcoming. The view of the bay of the dining room was spectacular and the beer was cold. As good as it was. Our appetizers were tasteless and my Chowder was cold. The shellfish was crunchy bad that came with our ducks. My fish fry combo had overcooked shrimps and scallops that tasted as if they were going badly. My side of mixed vegetables was damped beyond recognition. Two more shellfish were brought out with many unopened crustaceans, a safe sign of bad shellfish. Usually the kitchen would check to remove as many of it as possible. The place was not too busy so there was no excuse. All four ducks we ordered were terrible. In addition, the waiter looked like he had a groovy case pink eye, really attractive when you try to enjoy a meal. About 24 hours later, I started getting sick and my daughter. I couldn't put two and two together until I was told that my daughter had eaten a cup of my plate when I went to the bathroom. She stopped the next day. I was a little better, but not much. I tried to get the owner on the phone for a week and a half without luck. I didn't want to do much about it. Only today found that the owner, Peggy Lucas, received my complaint letter and decided that the best remedy was to go on vacation and not be available for the next two weeks: a safe fire way to get a care after the most likely one gets sick from food born disease. Ladies and gentlemen, there are not many restaurants in Bodega Bay, of Design. It is a beautiful place and I recommend that you visit there. However, I would rather order my hotel before I ever get to Lucas Wharf. The only way I can see that they stay in business is because of a trapped tourist group. The place is simply terrible and with its obvious lack of concern, you have a better one than odds on the shot to ruin your holiday unless you plan to spend it face in the toilet.
