Don has been a butcher for a long time and he knows his stuff but last few times I have called in and order ahead of time it has not been done and once it was for and important event and no one was their that could do it for me so I was extremely mad and did not get a satisfactory explanation or a apology for that matter This place needs a newer and cleaner building and he would do a lot better buisness most all his sausages and stuff it home made and his freezer packs are a good deal and his Holiday Turkeys and Hams are excellent
The first butcher ever who asked if we wanted our steaks seasoned before they were wrapped. Excellent quality and beef ageing but next time I'll get A THICKER RIB-EYE to enjoy it even more. This was our first visit since moving to the area and look forward to BBQ SEASON.
The town butcher. We have been buying meat there for about ten years now, and love the quality. The owner and employees are tops in customer service and friendliness. The beef and poultry are great. Always order our Christmas turkey here. We used to shop at Saslove's when we lived in Ottawa and Don's is more consistently top quality.
Don is great and the meat here is top quality. You can get what ever you need from Don he is very accommodating. You can call ahead and get your orders as well.
You are in for a treat at Don's....steaks are fantastic! Anything I have tried from Don's has been delicious and his cuts are excellent. You won't be disappointed!
Took a drive out to Almonte to stop by Don's to pick up some dog foodThey sell raw dog food in chicken, turkey and rabbit.
