[esc] Four Seasons Silicon Valley

loved our experience in the four seasons. although the formal restaurant is actually quattro and they have taken us, although I had accidentally booked the [esc] caffe on an open table. this review is for quattro, which has made a beautiful job for my mannes despite the mixup. the food was excellent, service wonderful- it was just a tad loud in the restaurant. overall a wonderful experience.

they didn't have my reservations. even I called, had to leave a cc because of the fixed price special valentine dinner for $190 per person. I received a text message to confirm, and I did. I made the reservations in quattro but have a denteley that they have since opened a small restaurant in the entrance area. I don't really know what it means, but it has the initial [esc]! I've never heard of it, even though I've been there for years. my man proposed it three years ago on Valentine's Day so we wanted to celebrate our jubilee there. I had many special dinners her regular nights and also thanksgiving and christmas with whole families. I always found eating pretty good and often great. I didn't like any of the courses. I'm not eating the next thing is good. my entrée came, the lobster was, and it almost tasted it was also cold I don't know if it should be, it was more room temperature. I ate a few bites and I start feeling a little sick, I couldn't finish it. we ordered each of the desserts the chocolate one was ok the “church wine”, which was a cake untouched except the small bite each of us took. there were no tasty things with our bill. they did not offer a long-awaited rose from which there were many vases of them. it looked like they hadn't offered them any of the women. we started with cocktails had a wee pairing that we shared. I was very disappointed as I have gone there for years and I had never had such terrible eating there and the fact that they took my credit card, I made the reservation on open table but they followed. and no one mentioned anything about the other restaurant and of course yes, the restaurant had no fixed menu at $190 per person. I can understand mixups, it can happen, but I don't know if I ever go back and I'm very sad about it because it was a special place for us.

We made an OpenTable reservation for 4:30pm, which the restaurant accepted. Unfortunately when we arrived, we discovered that the kitchen doesn't open until 5:30pm so only bar food was available. I don't think they should offer reservations for a period when their kitchen is not open.

Incredibly good service. Incredibly good food. Incredibly expensive restaurant...

had a travelzoo voucher for this visit. loved the cheeses we selected and the meats were just enough for the plate. The skillets were ok..had better pasta elsewhere. The service was great!

Our waiter was a delight and the only good thing about the evening.....I take that back, cheese platter was good and so was the wine. This definitely caters to hotel guest that are using their expense account. Would never return
