The best Mexican food we had in Oaxaca since our time. The owner loves to teach you about his special and unique food! Do not be deceived by the rural-looking institution; that's from the last restaurant. When was the last time you heard someone do your tortillas?
Really good Mexican food. A taste other than your usual fare. Owners are very friendly and explain everything on the menu that you do not recognize. Carne Asada is super delicate and the apple tea and Mexican coffee are great!
We had a fabulous meal. Fresh ingredients, very tasty, unique. It was the highlight of our trip. All family members participate in the restaurant. A very nice family and a fun place to go. I highly recommend the restaurant.
Fantastic unique cuisine from owners Fausta and Carol who are the heart and soul of The Rooster Cafe! Our party of 11 enjoyed a festive meal of several kinds of clayudas--a oaxacan specialty dish--all freshly prepared and delicious. And, we were even encouraged to play music in between courses. An amazing dining experience not to be missed!
The farmers roost is a cozy place located in downtown everson. Great food! Great service and big portions!! Love it. Definitely going back!
