Definitely a point worth checking! They've come here for a few years, and it's one of the better BBQ spots in the area. Consistent good food and great homemade sauces. I'm glad they reopened the weather. Only down, as the reopening (and my personal opinion) is that the Pommes come earlier with a fascinating good aioli, which was replaced by a blue cheese scuba sauce.

I'm new to the area and this place was recommended by one of my employees. The boy's right. Food was PHENOMENAL. I have half the chicken with fries and her aioli. Chicken was crispy and damp, pumice were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Aioli was also very good. Everything was so good I went back the next day and tried her bride. Brisket was tender and melted in the mouth. Very reasonable price for quality. I'll be back.

When I walked into this place, I got some cozy, old shack vibes. The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches are really great and smoky, but they were a bit stingy with the pickles and coleslaw. Overall, very good food.

This place looks like it belongs in the far out countryside, but it 's actually just off the Main Street in Hummelstown. It may not be easy to locate unless you know to look for a shack with red roof and a big black hog silhouette logo, behind some regular looking houses and parking lot. There are only 2 3 parking spots right by the shack, but I believe you can park in the lot behind the shack as well. Inside is an ordering counter with chalkboard menu in front of it, along with 2 medium sized tables and a short stretch of overhang along the wall. On a good weather day, there 's a picnic table outside. Bottom line, not too many places to sit on a busy day. I ordered from the menu from their website which has The Smokestack for $12 (not listed on the chalkboard menu). I had thought it was a platter, but it 's only a sandwich, so to me it 's a bit pricey, granted they did give me a lot of proteins. Per the menu description for The Smokestak: smoked brisket and pulled pork smothered with Blacksmith BBQ sauce, with sharp cheddar, bacon, and pickled pepper and onions. Unfortunately, the pepper and onions were missing. That said, the meat was cooked really nice moist, tender, and tasty. The bacon, on the other hand, was tough and cold. The staff/manager was friendly, and they take credit cards. The restroom was clean. Overall, a great place for BBQ.

Simply amazing delicious smoked BBQ. Small hole in the wall bbq joints are my favorite and Forrest's Feed Company is at the top of my list. Homemade sauces and wood fired smoker yum!! Hog wild sandwich was spot on smoked sausage, pulled pork, and bacon. What more could you want oh fresh cut fries and aioli!
