My daughter made a reservation for her birthday on July 19th with 13 people. We called early that morning when they first opened and then they called us back at 4:00 p.m. just to confirm the reservation. When we arrived, no one greeted us for 10 minutes and then a waitress quickly passing by told us our room was in the back. My guests all seated themselves and we learned that our waitress was the only person working that evening and that they had sent other staff home. Our waitress tried her best to take care of us and the two other customers that were there. No one else came in that evening, or even walked through the door. I would have assumed we would have been treated a little bit better given the number in our party and that we spent $400 that evening in an empty restaurant. We gave a 20% tip because we felt bad that our waitress was doing everything herself. I can only assume there was one chef in the back due to the length of time it took for the food to arrive. We did not see anyone else working it was a ghost town. I have wanted this place to be very good every time I go but unfortunately I just keep getting disappointed and it's too expensive to keep trying. The food was mediocre at best, the steaks were less appealing/tasty then Texas roadhouse or similar restaurants. The gnocchi served with the steak is most likely frozen and reheated because it was very hard. Other guests had small mistakes with their meals due to the staffing shortage but never had a chance to flag down our waitress to correct them. A disappointing 17th birthday for my daughter.
