Golden Crown Chinese Restaurant

The food is okay, but they really need to update the interior design. The tables are beaten and I almost left the chair that wasn't stable. I also think the Dessert-Dept. needs better varieties and fresh looking fruits. I never eat the desserts. You just need the right people to redesign and make other small improvements.

The food here is really good, but your best option is to get the take-out box, it stuffs as full as possible at the buffet and go. The restaurant seating area is quite scary, it looks really old and there is nothing nice about it. The waiting staff is fine, but you can watch them stand around and use their phones if they are not on the table of someone.

Sometimes we go to different types of restaurant because of mouth propaganda. You have to say something embarrassing. Golden Crown Restaurant is not where you want to eat. Above all, it is not clean and the cash register was very rude. All I have to say about the restaurant, bless God, all their food.

I've actually have been a customer for a couple of years. Most orders are for a family of 5 with favorite items being ordered. Friday's order cost me $82. I'm assuming the food was lifted from the buffet bar after sitting all day. I live 40 miles away or else it all would have been returned. I'll not be ordering from here again.

Ordered 40$ worth of food through Waitr because we wanted to give a new place a chance. Chicken wings where so small and had no flavor. We both got versions of lo mein and there wasn’t even any sauce on the noodles. It was like plain noodles with no flavor. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice was mushy and tasted bad. Also ordered sweet and sour chicken which was suppose to come with white rice, we didn’t get that. The chicken tasted sour and they also did not send the red sauce most places would. The spring roll was so nasty my husband spit it out. I was so, so disappointed. I’ve never got bad Chinese food until now. Everyone talked so highly of the place.

Sometimes the food is ok and sometimes it's not. The waitresses are very nice nut the owners who work in the back speak no English and are very rude. I took my son there and he asked a question about when fresh food was coming out and the lady from the back starting screaming at him. The cashier in the front is usually nice but she leaves and leaves children in charge in the front and if there's a problem they lie and say they don't know the owner. If you take your children there to eat stay with them at all times. Very bad experience!

The cleanliness of the place needed to be better. I should not have to wipe the table nor should I walk by and see visible food on the floor. Waitresses walking around serving customers like it's not there. It's just pure unhygienic and straight out nasty. I will not be returning.
