The food was okay. The Hamburgerpatties are not homemade and remind me of a McDonald's Patty in size, but not taste. You get more on the sandwich than in most places, but there is better option in Maxton and Pembroke. About everything we tasted was the Banana pudding, it's work to see a look just to try some of it.

These are two stars, but people were really nice. They have charged a lot for food, but they didn't have the shrimps and other things. The food was at best edible. That was the fish plate. They say their burgers are good.

Great food and character! We have just for Sunday lunch and the buffet where you get 1 protein, 1 starch and two sides. I have Turkey, Dressing, Gravy, Lima beans and sweet potatoes. They go light on the salt that is big. Prices are very reasonable. We will come back next time

Owners are amazing. Great food, even better prices. Worth the little bit of a drive off the highway. We will definitely stop in again. We have found our new mid-way to the beach stop. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious small plates! We stopped for some breakfast sandwiches, home fries, and grits. The sandwiches had just the right amount of meat, and not too salty! Really enjoyed the seasoning on the home fries as well!! Grits were perfect consistency, and the free bananas were a nice touch lol Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a quick bite while visiting near Maxton, NC.

Really solid food worth the quick stop off of US 74. Friendly owner, fast service and reasonable prices. This is a typical southern grill in layout and appearance, something that is slowly disappearing across the state. Stopped by for Sunday lunch and had an excellent cheese steak. They also had a cafeteria-style hot bar. Google had the wrong location for me. Restaurant is across the street from a Safeway.
