We were always at Mac when we went to Bryson City. Food is the best we've ever tasted. Forellen- und Bisonburger are from this world. Very recommended

here for a few years never had bad meal, but in front of the house needs a good manager. we try to get the same (older) waitress as we know she does a good job. Only the complaint we've ever had was waiting to get a table, even if not busy and slow times sometimes even get our drink order or check whether we need anything else. Don't plan to be in a hurry.

is that real buffalo meat you use for your buffalo burgers

Food is always very good, whether dine-in or take-out. Order early for take-out, as there is frequently a wait. And note the small plate specials; they are available all day. Burgers are legendary, and fresh seafood is a real treat to find in the mountains!

We've been to jimmie Mac's every time we visit Bryson City. Food is the best we've ever tasted. Trout and bison burgers are out of this world. Highly recommended

Went after a hike. We were told 15 minutes for a table. After 25, we tried to ask again and were ignored. At 35 minutes, we finally got someone's attention and were told they couldn't pull two tables together to seat 5 of us, but could put us at 2 separate tables. We said not to bother, we would find somewhere else to eat. Miraculously, they were able to pull the two tables together suddenly. We should have taken the hint that we were neither wanted nor welcome here at this point, but we ventured on.
