What an interesting experience! We were passing though town and looking for a place to eat and we're pointed toward this restaurant by a local. None of us had ever had bannock (fried bread, a traditional First Nations food), and we all loved it! Service was very good. Although we all enjoyed our food, consensus in the family was that my meal was the best: it was a sandwich with fried egg and fried cheese with fried potatoes on Bannock (I forget what it was called). I'd recommend trying that!

We ate lunch here recently and enjoyed some delicious bannock and homemade soup. Traditional bannock is made fresh every day from a family recipe. It's so delicious. The wild rice and chicken soup was also tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. There are many more items on the menu making it a good place to eat any time of the day. Most offerings include bannock but other options are available. We came for the bannock and were not disappointed. We definitely plan to return to Kokum Bannock Shack the next time we are in the area.

Very good breakfast yummy, hot fresh and DELISH! The waitress was grumpy but she was very busy. Our table was served quickly. Coffee hot and fresh, eggs perfectly cooked. Will be back again!!!

Friendly place to eat with good portions. Food was ok with a great deal of the food deep fried and/or fried. If you like burgers and fries with bannock then this is the place to eat. Staff are great and welcoming.

Got recommended this little place at a gas station and did not regret coming in. We ordered two Reuben sandwiches, one on bannock bread and the other one on rye, both were delicious and inexpensive. It's a pity we didn't have the chance to try their sup of the day (wild rice and vegetable) as they were already out.

Interesting place to eat. Meals are centred around Bannock. Wholesome food, good size portions. Good coffee. Some times hard to get a seat for breakfast because everything tastes so good.

Went to Kokoms for dinner and was not disappointed the sloppy burger was great and the deep fried pickles were awesome. Service was great and the staff was friendly.

This place was recommended by a couchsurfing host and was massively appreciated. It's a real gem, with great food, fantastic customer service, lovely art and very cheap for the portions you get!
