This charming café is located on the riverfront of the historic Salaville District in Westwego. There is plenty of free parking adjacent to the newly remodeled building. As soon as my mom and I walked in we were greeted warmly by the owners and staff. The dining room is clean, roomy, and decorated with local NOLA flair(The original artwork that adorns the walls of the restaurant are for sale as well). As for the food it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp in my Po Boy were fried to perfection and the bun was toasted nicely. Mom had the fried shrimp platter with a fresh house salad, which she enjoyed tremendously! Not a bite was left on either of our plates. I must note that we had to try the Debris Fries , which everyone raves about around town. YUM!! Seasoned fries covered in hot roast beef (as in warm) with just the right amount of garlic. Those were gone before the entrees arrived. We were stuffed before we left but we ordered some fried bread pudding to go. They are to die for! I will definitely be a regular customer at LeBranes 's Creole Cuisine! They also have a fantastic breakfast menu with several options, from traditional to unique creations. Great food, friendly staff and welcoming! Don 't miss out on this gem of an addition to Sala Avenue.
