We had the Fish & Chips! Can't beat homemade fries! Portions are very Large! Always a laugh or a story, the Owners are great people! They do Take out or eat at the Picnic Tables outside or a small area inside on a rainy day! Our Grandson loves their Ice Cream, many flavours! They Close around 6pm but will cook until their last customer is Fed!

Wow, this is definitely a hidden gem! If I hadn't read about this place on Trip Advisor, we would have missed it. Hidden right behind the St James Information Centre, it looks really small, but inside there is a spacious place to eat. The ice cream is probably the best thing and the servings are surprisingly large. They have burgers, hot dogs, soft drinks (in cans) as well as shakes and slushies. There are picnic tables outside if you want to enjoy the sunshine. We liked this place so much, we may.come back again before we head out of town!

A friendly take out burger joint. The servings are large, the chips home made, the burgers decent. Unfortunately, the buns are frozen and fall apart into little dryish chunks (freezer burn) and make it impossible to eat the burgers without a fork and a mess. The halibut is commercial frozen product with the fish dinners being the standard triangle of flash frozen halibut. The halibut burger is a commercially prepared round of battered minced fish product. All in all if you are hungry it fills a hole. All the ice-cream is lactose free but sadly the flavouring syrups are all artificial blends giving a bitter aftertaste to anyone that may have sensitivity to the chemicals.

So this place may not look like much from the outside but when you get inside the owners are friendly and give great service! They give you plenty of food that it over fills the container! The fries are fabulous & the burgers juicy! The ice cream selections are so many! Also, from a Lactose intolerant person, I can have their ice cream! If, you come to Fort St. James, you gotta eat here! I live here & highly recommend this stop when you come visit us!

This is a must place to eat fast food and enjoy great hamburgers and the best French fries in Fort St James. This restaurant is on the main road leading into Fort St James on the left side of the road. It is great value for your money but be aware the portions of food a large ....so careful not to place to much of a large order. They make the best milk shakes for aroinf $5 and worth every penny. This is one of my favourite fast food joints in Fort St James.

Awesome big burgers, homemade fries, generous portions. So much food we couldnt eat it all! Will definitely stop-in again!

Our family loves this place. We look forward to opening day every spring. The place doesn't look like much. By far the best burgers, fries around and ice cream around.
